To utilize my vast executive experience in corporate retail, first in Tech Sector for more than 35 years, with the last 9 involved in the building, operating,  marketing, and politics of legitimate medical cannabis collectives, along with indoor growing facilities in Long Beach, California. And since 2012 have also been a contracted political/business consultant and advisor on legally permitted medical cannabis businesses with clients in Long Beach and Los Angeles (pre-ICO) as well as several other states, including Illinois, Michigan, and Oregon. Well versed in Oil extraction products and product research. Also acting as paid consultant/lobbyist for several local legitimate cannabis retailers, cultivators, lab operators, and manufacturers that are currently in application/buildout mode.
Work History
04/2015 to Present             President, CEO of Cornerstone Health & Wellness

Currently obtaining local and state licensing for investment group in a retail dispensary with home delivery, large-scale indoor grow operation, extraction, distribution, and manufacturing in Long Beach, CA (Cornerstone). Searching and obtaining proper real estate through close relationships with the local R.E. community while lining up relevant personnel. Active in design and renovation of location as well tried and true marketing implementation. Personally handling political advisory with local and state legislators, law enforcement, attorney needs, and fostering of community relationships as a long=term member of the Long Beach Collective Association. Also currently heading management company (LB King Managment Team) representing other local groups in obtaining various licensing while advising them in proper business practices and keeping them in tight compliance. Have recently brokered 12-15 million in real estate transactions and millions more in several cannabis-related corporate transactions.


06/2014 to Present   Long Beach Collective Association(LBCA)

Consultant for Long Beach Collective Association (LBCA) during recent successful campaign for Measure MM and Prop 64.  Appointed by Mayor Robert Garcia to write ballot arguments and rebuttals for City of Long Beach, prior to recent 2016 election.


02/2015 to January, 2016   Long Beach Medical Marijuana Task Force

Appointed by City Council (by ordinance) and approved by Mayor Robert Garcia with the specific purpose of advising the City Council and City Attorney in the writing of a new Medical Cannabis ordinance. 1 of 18 members. Wrote a full municipal ordinance that was voted by Task Force to be introduced to the LB City Council. Made lasting contacts and friendships with Neighborhood Association members, local law enforcement, newest City Council members and their staffs, vetted business operators, and City Attorney lawyers. Have very positive relationships with local daily/weekly news organizations.


2011 to Present   LB King Management and Consulting, Long Beach, CA

Working with clients locally as well as across the US in advising and consulting on proper methodology and common protocols in the building and modification of legitimate medical cannabis businesses. Expert in marketing/branding, training, cultivation, security, leasing, build-out, and MMJ product lines. Have often handled complex application processes and hiring/training for clients in California, Illinois, Oregon, and Michigan.



04/2013 to 04/2014    City Council Candidate     Long Beach, CA

Registered Candidate for Long Beach City Council (7th District). Part of a pro-medical marijuana coalition of candidates that helped make considerably much needed changes in our city.  When incumbent opponent quit race and competent new candidate entered, withdrew from race to endorse new candidate, who won by landslide in primary Almost entirely new City Council’s first order of business was to vote in whole new medical marijuana ordinance. Still consulting City Council members in revising new regulatory rules.



08/2009 to 03/2012   The Kind And The Compassionate, Green Corner,  Happy Meds Delivery                        Long Beach, CA

Director and CEO of large-scale city-approved (Long Beach Lottery winner) medical cannabis dispensary and (large indoor) cultivation not-for-profit corporation. Built LLC retail store next to collective called Green Corner with hemp clothing sales, cultivation classes, books, reference materials, and hydro equipment. Located in beautiful new retail mall location. Handled leasing, build- out/design, inventory acquisition, financing, and hiring/training.  Volunteered much time for research as well as several patient’s advocacy groups while running for political office.


01/09 to 06/10   Final Cut Collective (FCC)     Long Beach, CA

Director, GM

Founded and built compliant dispensary with small cultivation area while mother was sick with 5th bout of Type 4 cancer, eventually passing away in January 2010, shortly after father died of cancer. Final Cut Collective (FCC) was a very clean and safe environment that immediately blossomed into a 5000+ patient facility. Utilizing many years of retail and corporate experience, built and managed the complete business, overseeing approximately 12 employees. Closed operation and moved location after Long Beach enacted 2010 Ordinance.





08/06 to 01/08        eAgency Systems     Newport Beach, CA

National Director of Retail Sales in charge of security software sales, as well as hardware, to enhance Blackberry and smartphone wireless devices. Sales of CRM and business management over-the-air programs aimed at enterprise end-users and small businesses nationwide. Promoted child-protection wireless software against online predators and cyber-bullies to national retail chains and carriers. Also handled acquisition of new corporate accounts and have used extensive industry contacts to put together multi-partner deals. Main liaison for company to all of the US wireless carriers and most manufacturers. Recruited for industry contacts and knowledge but was soon handling all retail sales responsibilities. Frequently met with mayors, police chiefs, domestic intelligence agencies, and CEOs to supply them (at no cost) with our child-protection security app that has resulted in hundreds of sexual predator arrests. Worked with LB Mayor Foster, LBUSD Superintendent Steinhauser, LBPD Chief Batts, PTA President Craighead, and others to supply free cellphones and software to protect Long Beach children from predators. 150K per year including bonuses and related business opportunities.  Competently managed these duties while consecutively operating own chain of cell phone stores (LiveWire).


07/97 to 12/08     LiveWire Communications    Long Beach, CA

Owner and CEO

Built and managed new “exclusive” Cingular/ATT-approved retail wireless chain. Personally located, designed and built 12 state-of-the-art cell phone stores and four multi – carrier cellular boutiques from scratch and marketed them into immediately successful operation. Offered multi-line products and features to the public as well as business-to-business outside sales. Handled every aspect of operation, from training all inside and outside sales personnel to personally handling key corporate and municipal government accounts.  Earning about 200-300K per year but have also made a hefty profit as these stores were sold off. Managed 60 employees.


1/97 to 6/97     Unplugged Communications     Rancho Dominguez, CA

Account Sales Manager

Actively recruited while still living in Chicago, all moving expenses were paid, along with considerable signing bonus and paid housing, to relocate to Southern California to manage accounts in the wholesale distribution of cellular phones and accessories for the nation’s second largest Nokia distributor. Doubled my gross profit every month while there but unfortunately the company went bankrupt within six months of my arrival in California due to the loss of their Nokia line.

Cellular Sales Engineer and Consultant

In charge of all sales and technical support for cellular operations in the Chicago and Milwaukee markets, as well as a consultant and training instructor nationally for large international corporation after they added wireless to their other telecommunication lines. Was in charge of training and supervising 16 sales teams consisting of 80-90 account managers.

Currently donate time and resources to 2 groups that are very important to me, as well as to the patient community. One is PatientsFirst, a medical marijuana patient’s rights group. It is also a conduit to the patients of Long Beach who are underprivileged and need assistance. The other group that I am still working with is Americans with Disabilities, Sick, and Injured (ADSI), which is a group of lawyers, doctors, former law enforcement, and patients who assist those that have most severe conditions, especially those that have difficulty gaining safe access to medical cannabis.
